Happy Easter!

Hey guys,

It's been a while, but we have been busy again after the school grade level trips. But since it is Easter today I just wanted to do a quick post to tell you guys what I have been up to!

Even though we don't celebrate Easter here in Vietnam, I found these cutest egg DIY's here to decorate your eggs! They may be late but you can just look at them and feel the adorableness.

I am also very keen to try out this DIY block printing - it sure looks amazing, but I bet it's not easy!

So the end of quarter is coming, and lots of stuff are due for us around this time. Which is why we've been so busy, but there are still some things I want to show you.

First, my wire portraiture project has been completed, and I am so happy because it has come out really well. I made two pieces for the series, but I am planning to do more and make it into an installation later in the future.

Below are the pieces (excuse the crumbled white screen!) and at the end of the post is a video I made for one of the pieces.

I am also working on two more projects, one in which is not going to be revealed yet but one will involve decorating a door with beautiful tribal patterns (inspired by tribal clothing patterns of Vietnamese ethnic minorities).

Aren't they beautiful? Photos credit to Wandering Threads.

Door sticker by Artfire - mine will be similar, except it will be on a wooden brown door :)
Anyhow, happy Easter and see you soon :)

Organizing, organizing...

I'm guessing the title is giving away a little but yes, I am trying to organize my life lately. It is going to be the end of quarter soon (again) and I'm going to freak out (again) because of the overload of work. So I am trying my best to pre-organize things, aka not procastinate, but you know how that goes sometimes...

Besides that, I was actually re-organizing my makeup this afternoon. I thought it would be nice to share how I organize it - not that it's any good, though. :P

not the whole thing but what I usually use :)

I usually organize this then it gets super messy again because when I'm late I can't be bothered to put it back nicely where it is.

I love this, because it packs the products I most use, but it doesn't include a place for my mascara :( which is what I use most, really.

I like how compact this is but it is just too much at once and I don't use all of these products regularly.

I really like this one, but the only problem is that when I take out my Naked 2 palette all the mascara and the jumbo pencil etc. rolls down the basket and I don't like that at all. :/

This last one is my favourite, because it's my most used products all in one. I also like it because when I take out the Naked 2 palette the pencil and mascara won't roll down. Yay! Settled for this one now :)

Which one did you like most? How do you organize your makeup?

Dress code? What dress code.......

Sup guys, so it's been like what..... nearly a week since Chi, Tiara or I posted something so I thought 'hey, its been nearly a week since Chi, Tiara or I posted something. Anyways, there's nothing much going on until next week because... drum roll please... *drumming starts* FIELD TRIP. Yep, hopefully there won't be any drama since its our last field trip. And last week we had a football tournament so yea still freaking out about that. So. There's nothing this week. Okay I lied. There's the spring fair thing on Saturday as well but I don't have any photos for that. Also, I was messing about with my football shirt:

MY LOVELY FACE. jk... okay now I feel stupid.

So besides messing around with my football shirt, I found my sister's sweater lying around and was like 'Oh, okay... SWEATER TIME'. Also, I realised (yes. I realised) that my stomach is showing. A lot. But guess what guys, who cares? really? okay besides our principal who wants a dress code for prom. Really? A dress code for PROM? Oh my god. He's been looking at our bra straps again. So here's the type of dressing which will definitely get me sent to the office... here goes...
Oh my god. are those short shorts? past the fingertips??? AND IS THAT SWEATER SHOWING YOUR STOMACH??? *faints* HAHA.
I'm too serious. Sorry but taking photos without a proper camera pisses me off.....
I've got to clean my mirror... OMG.

Mr Beckham, polaroids, and disappointment

Hi,

Chi here. Haha it has been a while hasn't it? Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about this. I was sick for the past week and I was stuck at home for at least four days. The agony of sickness... it's terrible :( I really don't like being sick guys.

So when I was at home, given the extra time that I had I sat down and did a bit of drawing, and after looking at some of my favourite design blogs I saw some really amazing drawings that were sort of to the more realistic, very detailed-looking side. And they were of people's faces. So after gazing at them for hours I said to myself, why don't I try out doing it?

So I chose Mr David Beckham, just because his face is hot as hell (but he's getting old, what a shame). This is what I came up with after two hours that night! (Click title to view enlarged version)

As the weather is getting better lately, we have been taking a lot of polaroid pictures lately, and I can't help but drool over one of these babies. I know the film is expensive and all, but it is such a good tool to have for instant, in-a-moment memories. I would love to buy one and take millions of pictures with Alex when he gets over. That way I can store the little memories, no?

Our favourite picture.
Also a few things happened over the course of last week. I was thinking of doing a student-led musical for next year on Grease alongside with another student-led on Beauty and the Beast since I kind of wanted to make it super good and in my own way as well. Unfortunately, after a few days of seeking approval from the school and talking and mucking around it couldn't happen and I am quite disappointed. There goes my senior year. But oh well, I will chip in and try to help as much as I could with the other musical... although I am not quite sure how Aincre and the group will deal with the whole dancing-teapots and singing-spoons.....

And there were a lot of boys disappointment too... boy, it was miraculous we finally got out of it! T'was worth it, for the short time, *hint hint Abi* and well... it will never happen again. I hope. I really don't want anyone to get hurt :(

Anyhow, that is too much talking for me today. Toodles.
